Rich was simply one of the nicest people I have ever had the opportunity to know. He had that unique ability to make you feel like you were the most important person in the room. He gave you his undivided attention during a conversation. He was a tremendous listener. He could provide sound advice when appropriate or simply assure you that you were on the right track with that smile and a nod. His humble, warm, caring approach was, and is, a great example for all to follow. He was a wonderful family man. Rich was a gentleman to all. I am so happy I had the opportunity to know him.

Rich will be deeply missed. What a comfortable, interested conversationalist. An empathetic listener who had insightful thoughts courteously shared. Loved people, especially his children and grandchildren. Had all the time in the world for family and friends. Wonderfully active as a servant to others. Most unselfish person known to me and my family.
