- Missing someone isn't about how long it has been since youv'e seen them or the amount of time since youv'e talked. It's about that very moment when you find yourself doing something and wishing they were right there by your side .
love and miss you bunches .!
you were always their when i needed you, you were more of a dad to me than anybody else has been and i wanna thank you : )

Morning Dad. It seems odd not watching the Price is Right with you while you read the morning LSJ and drink some OJ. Cooking is not as enjoyable. You were always proud of what I made, even if it tasted like crap, you never let on :) Hope that whatever you are doing, your happy and know that I love and miss you. I think of you more often than I let on.

Joe~ We go way back to the days on N. Francis St. introducing you to Lenay and then you and Lenay introducing Mom and Ford together. Thank you for all the memories, that is what is getting us through the hard times now, some just make me bust out laughing. You are one of a kind and will be sadly missed but never forgotten. However, you will be greeted by an ever growing number of Spartan Family and Friends. Say hello to everyone for me and the Heavens will be a little more comical now that you have joined them. You will be missed but until we meet again all my love from one of the Beeiitches from Gums and Noses.

I remember Joe as one of the guys from the east side........ the little brother to Tim....... who hung out with us on Magnolia Street, at the Corner Store, the Armory, or walking down Jerome Street to Resurrection School ........ in later years, I'd see him at the Frances St. house.

During those years, I remember seeing him always with a smile on his face, a friendly person, who everyone enjoyed being around. Now decades have passed...........................and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. PEACE be yours, Joe!

Joe, its hard to believe that you are gone. There are so many things we will miss about you, hanging out in the Mahal, talking Spartan Football and dreaming of getting to the Rose Bowl. The time we all went to the Lugnuts Game and ended up in the Dan Henry suite was one we will never forget! Thanks for all of the good times and the laughs we shared. You will truely be missed.

my favorite joe story is from one of the times we went canoeing. i had a broken ankle but wrapped a plastic bag over the cast and went along as usual.

at some point we made a routine pit stop and were all standing around. myself on one leg, next to joe.

randomly, without looking, he reaches over and pushes me. nothing brutal but enough to knock over someone with only the use of one leg... i fell in the mud and he turned around laughing and apologizing endlessly, forgetting that i was on crutches. we all laughed about it, and still do.

the time joe pushed a cripple down in the mud :-) good times.
