JOSEPH LODGE Obituary
Of Indian Head, MD, formerly of Bethel Park, on Friday, September 11, 2015, age 21, beloved son of Karen Sweigard of Indian Head, MD and Joseph Lodge (Heather Foutz); loving grandson of Joseph and Sara (Dwyer) Lodge of Bethel Park and Peggy Sweigard of Columbia, MD; brother of Jonathan Taner Lodge; half-brother of Anthony Trulli, Theo, Cayden and Julian Lodge; also several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Thursday 7-9 p.m. at the DAVID J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Charles County, humanesocietycc.org, where he spent many wonderful days of employment or the good people of South Park Boxing Club, 412-650-5157, who taught him some good life lessons.

Joe was a wonderful young man! I had many dealings with him at the Humane Society of Charles County. He loved the animals and enjoyed working with them and helping them. He had a very nice calm way with them. I could always count on him to help me out! He loved the snakes we got in one day and he helped me get them over to the local Petco. Joe knew I was not a snake fan and had fun teasing me with them.
I will cherish those memories of Joe teasing me.
Please accept my sincere condolences. My heart aches for his family.

I didn't really know Elliot, but I know the Lodge family, we're neighbors. Their a tight knit family and we're all friends.I feel and understand what their all going through and I'm here for all of them.My heart is heavy at this time ( it's a devastating situation when you lose a child)
