Sorry to hear this. Last time I saw him, was visiting him up at, I believe was family land right about October 2024. He was very upset over visitation with his son and other issues. I was trying to locate him, to get some of my items and money owed to me. Very sorry to see, that this was the reason he hadn't returned, repayed or contacted me. Very sorry for your loss. We played alot of disc golf together. Peace and love to him and all of you, during this time. Brian Dvorak.

Joey, your passing is deeply felt and heartbreaking. You were an exceptional individual, always bringing energy and positivity to every situation. You were always the loudest in the high school halls greeting people, the biggest cheerleader on the ball field, and the life of the party. Your unwavering support and genuine friendship were invaluable, especially during my darkest times. We sure endured a lot together throughout the years! Your love and dedication to Kilik were evident from the moment he was born, and you were an exemplary father. I hope Kilik always remembers the love and passion you had for him. I hope you have now found the peace you sought for so long. Your presence and friendship in my life made me a better person, and I will always cherish those memories. Please watch over Kilik, your family, and friends. Rest in peace, dear friend. Until we meet again...

Joey was a deeply emotional person, with soaring highs and crushing lows. I have seen both of these. He had a depth of feeling not often seen. He was a kind ad generous person who enjoyed the outdoors immensely. I express my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Especially his little son.

First met Joe back in little league baseball in early grade school. We found out we lived close to each other and would ride bikes to some of the local jumps. We stayed friends up until his death and would still occasionally play frisbee golf with each other. I´m gonna miss you buddy and I hope you found what you were looking for.

Rest in peace brother. Me and Joe go way back to the times of riding our bikes to clay mountain near the townhome in coon rapids. So many great memories over summer vacation and playing football up at the park and whatever else we wanted to do. We both loved Chris Carter and Jerry Rice (football players) and we would do our best toe tapped catches and yell Carter or Rice!

I met Joey through mutual friends we were both young adults. It wasn't long before we discovered that our grandparents know each other and are from the same tiny town in northern MN. From then on, him and I always had that small town family connection. Almost every conversation we had included his son Kilik. He loved that boy so much and it showed.
We all love you Joey, you are greatly missed!

I'll never forgot biking around the cities, going off dirt hills and sketchy man made jumps. One day he was excited about putting new pedals that were the shiny metal ones, if you know, you know. He went off a dirt hill and lost his footing on his pedals and those things just shredded his shine to the bone. I remember him laughing and saying ah sh.., can't do that again. He's always been smart but I might have questioned it a time or two. By he sure was tough and always had a smile on his face when I saw him.

I first met Joe as a young kid due to my friendship with his cousin Dan. With as tight knit as the Lom family is I spent a lot of time with Joe growing up, whether playing football in the yard or biking around town. He was always scheming up something and it was never boring around him. My condolences.
