Joseph Love Obituary
Joseph Thomas Love, 79, passed away peacefully at his home in Charlottesville on Sunday, May 1, 2011.
He was born on November 12, 1931, in Mecklenburg, Virginia, the son of the late Horace Allen Love and Sarah Virginia Love.
He served with the Virginia Department of Transportation as an engineer for over forty years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances McCleary Love of Charlottesville; his son, Joseph Thomas Love Jr. of Roanoke, Virginia; a brother, Dennis A. Love of South Hill, Virginia; a sister, Virginia Love Tisdale of Richmond, Virginia.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Rochelle Christian Church Cemetery, 3985 Jacks Shop Road, Rochelle, VA 22738. The Reverend Ronald D. Panebaker will conduct the service.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at the Preddy Funeral Home in Madison.

Hi Tom: I have been meaning to call, but have been feeling swamped. I was sorry to see the notice of your dad's death. This must a difficult time for you and my thoughts are with you. It would be nice to have some lunch and catch up on that is happening with you. Please share my condolences with your mom.
