My thoughts and prayers are with each of you and have been throughout the last months. I will always remember his quick wit and smile - though I never hear him on the accordion - I heard the laugher he brought out! He did love to tease - and he did teach me how to stick through a Magistro dinner!
All my love - Kathleen

My heart and thoughts are with you Irene in this time of grief. My belief is that he is with God and that your love, his family and friends, can be a comfort during this time.

My cousin Joe was one of the best. I remember how handsome he looked in his Marine uniform, how well he played the accordian (at many functions held at our home, and on the radio with the band, Honey and her Buckaroos.) He was an excellent dancer(he and Irene were great.)
He was friendly, always cheerful,
very religious, and an all around good person. My thoughts and prayers are with Irene, her children and grandchildren.

I will miss Uncle Joe...I have such great memories of him...from the time I was very young, until I saw him last year. He always had a great story to tell and was a fountain of information about our family history. I wish I had recorded his stories for future generations. My sympathies to Aunt Irene and my cousins.

Uncle Joe was such a strong influence in my life. I have so many memories of him from when I was a kid spending all of my summers in Johnstown with Nona. I'm thinking strongly about him, Aunt Irene, and the entire family at this time. He had such a wonderful and rich life...he'll be so missed by so many.

Uncle Joe was a fun-loving, gentle man who was always the life of any family gathering with his musical talents on the piano and accordian. I was lucky enough to spend time with him whether it was impromptu shopping trips to Giant Eagle, visiting our Zia Mary at Laurel Wood nursing home last November or stopping for at beer at the Sons of Italy on the way home from paying respects to relatives at the funeral home. I will miss him.

Uncle Joe was a wonderful godfather. I loved his warm loving smile and great storytelling, accordion playing, piano playing, and joking around. I feel lucky to have had him and Aunt Irene and my cousins across the street while I was growing up. I will miss him, but I am thankful for his long loving life.

My memories of Uncle Joe are fond. Like all the Magistros, he was very kind to me and made me feel like part of the family from the beginning. It was great to see his friendly face at Lee when I started my nursing career there. His gentle voice will be missed.
Love to Aunt Irene, Debi, Ted, Matt, Johnny and families.
