There should be entries from Houlton, where so many knew Joe so long ago. Seems as if Mary Jane Bedell, our 5th grade teacher, was his aunt. I shared classes with him in High School and remember him as my chief competitor in Algebra Review.
Much sympathy and All my Best to his Family,

Heartfelt condolences to the McBrine family. We chatted with Joe at the Orono Farmers Market when he got us hooked on his products. Upon reading about his educational career, we now know as educators ourselves, another reason why we were drawn to him. He will be missed.

Living a Christ like life, means a life of service to others. Mr. McBrine did live a life of service to others, having a direct impact on the education of thousands of young men and women. His children has followed in his and his wife's footsteps dedicating their lives to the service of others and raising children with the same Christ like principles that Mr.& Mrs. McBrine demonstrated in their lives. I am sure that he is smiling as he looks down on his life long partner and children. God bless the McBrine family.
