I knew Joe and Faye Mueller from the days that he DJ'd and she was his girl Friday at St. Mark's Teen Canteen in 1963. I was crowned the Snow Ball Queen by Joe and he and Faye took both me and my sister Mary to many teen dances in the area. I loved them both. So sorry to hear he passed away. My sister Mary passed away a couple of years ago from Cancer. She was so very close to Faye. They had a big impact on the lives of the teen who attended St Mark's Canteen. God bless the family. I remember Joe Mueller very clearly, even though I moved away from Covington over forty years ago. I taught second grade at Third District School, and his daughter Sandy was in my class. Mr. Mueller used to donate books to our school library. He was always eager to help others. It's people like Joe Mueller who make this world a better place.
