Dr. Joe, Although I am only 2yrs old. You were my mommy (Destinae) Dr. for the past 20yrs. and then you became mine. My family thought the world of you, and that is why you became my pediatrician. I am thankful to have such an amazing Dr. I wish I was older to understand the amazing person you were and the lives and families that you have touched will never be forgotten. We will continue to go wherever Dominic is and enjoy the memories we hear and keep you close at heart.

Funny, but you were expecting me to pay you a vist sometime this October.
Remember those endless days and nights you spent with my brothers, choosing the adventures rather than school work and then planning nextweeks follies once again? We had no neighbors then, except your place and ours. Our house was your second home. Next surprise was you found us again, retracing the path back to the old house just a few years back. Reconnecting and updating like old days in FB.
Joe, for what ever it was worth, the last 2 years was the most telling of how strong you were bonded not only by your present but also with your past. Something that we more often than not we take forgranted. You have taught us to value the friendship that trancends time, distance and space. For that alone, these few words cannot do justice to how you have become a big part of our lives.
In behalf of my family, thank you for the priceless moments you spent with us, you will always be a part of us. We love you Joe!

We just found out that our favorite Dr Joe has passed away. Forgive me if I sound selfish but, I really feel robbed. Dr. Joe made me and my family feel at ease. Dr.Joe was the most Awesome Doctor known. He took care of my daughter from the time she was born. She had many different things going on with her and he was able to diagnois them on the dime. Not only that he had a personal relationship with her and each time that she saw him he made sure she was doing well in school and that her health was ok. He even sponsored her photo shoot in her very first pageant. In which out of 241 girls she got 2nd Runner-up and Oh! was he proud of her. Dr. Joe you will be missed and R. I. P.....

Dr. Joe its been 1 month since you passed and I am still having trouble and missed you dearly. It's not the same bringing the babies to another practitioner. I missed seeing you with your box full of stickers and teaching me what to do. My son will be turning 6 months in 4 days and like you said I don't have a baby anymore I have a toddler now. Dear Patrick,
It took me a while to send you this for the reason that I was lost with words to say. I was so devastated to hear the news of your dad's passing away. Your dad and I were special friends during our college years, our relationship was like a brother and sister. We parted ways when I got married (he was one of the photographers on my wedding day) and good timing he had to pursue medical school in Manila. We re-united lately and just starting to pick up the pieces; to reminisce the good old days and just in the brink of catching up on each other's life story. I had so many chances to meet up with him since we reconnected and now I regret so much for putting it off. I live in Australia and had been in contact through messages and short phone calls, one he made between his hospital rounds and whenever he found the time. One phone call was not long ago before his passing away. I sensed his busy life style and as a sisterly advice- I told him to slow down and have a life. I'm still gripping the loss of a dear friend and coming into terms that he will never come and visit Australia as one of his near future trips. Reading through all the messages on his obituary, it sums up your dad and truly he may be gone but he left a legacy that will linger forever in the hearts of many. For sure he had high hopes and aspiration for you. One thing with your Dad, he was not a quitter; he aimed high and worked hard to achieve his goal in life. It is so much evident as we look at his achievements in life. Patrick, may your dad be your hero and a shining testimony to all of us. Read through all the comments from your family, friends and your dad's patients they will surely inspire you to keep on and continue where he has left.
To Tita Conching, I think of you from the day I heard of the news. Many times I attempted to pick up the phone to call you. I don't know what to say but you will hear from me soon. Reminiscing our Baguio years, I remember the times we talked about our family. Jojo adored and loved you so much, you were his life. No doubt you have witnessed this and thankful to God for the life you both shared together through the years. I am glad we shared true friendship and that we were there for each other. He always told me I was strong and only because I drew my strength from God. I lost my mom as a teenager; then not long after my family migrated to Australia I lost my husband. I was then left to raise my son and daughter. It was tough, but I went through it by God's grace. I could just imagine the grief you have to go through and may you be comforted knowing that Jojo is with the Lord and you will see him one day. God is in control He knows what is best for us.
Jojo, my dearest friend, we didn't end up seeing each other as planned and to be with me when I will become a grandma for the first time early next year, well, I will still look forward when I get to see you in that beautiful land. Thanks for sharing beautiful memories! This Bible verse speaks as you departed.

My family was very saddened by the news of losing our beloved Dr. Joe. He has been our children's doctor for 14 years. he was not just our doctor, he was our friend. Dr. Joe, you have touched so many lives and will forever be remembered. My heart is still aching from your passing but I know you're at peace and will continue to guide all the parents and watch over all the babies. You've taught us a lot over the past 6 1/2 yrs and it will be difficult to find another one like you. Thank you for taking care of my 3 wonderful children since birth and all the advice you've given me. We love you and we'll definately miss you! RIP.

Dr. Joe will be greatly missed. He was always so straight forward and told my kids what was required for their children, then listened to how we were doing things. Everytime he saw me with my grandchildren, he smiled. He understood the love. Myself, my children and my grandchildren are so blessed to have met and interected with such an amazing man. He is watching over all of us.

Dr Joe, we always loved to see you at San Martin MCC. You were always such a joy. Always smiling and hugs all around. Always so giving and generous, just like when you sponsored my little Spencer's Cardinals baseball team. When we lost our sweet Spencer in April before he got to play his season, I could barely live through the pain. But, I find some comfort in knowing he has you there with him now. I know in my heart you are both laughing and smiling and making everyone's day better just by being in it. You are have left a hole in our hearts, but we will meet again.
