Dear Carol Ann,
I will always remember Joe as a kind and considerate man. I first remember Joe from the Spring of 1981 when we both took a sociology class at BSC. He would tape some of the lectures, but he didn't do so without asking the instructor's permission first.
He truely cared about other people and the world is a little bit poorer now because of his passing.

Dear Mrs. Nestor, Guylinda and I are so sorry to know of Joe's passing. Joe and I talked many times. I remember him fondly. You and Joe were such great supporters of Big Creek High School. I could call on you two at any time for help with projects at school and you were always more than willing to help.
With Respect, Fred and Guylinda Bailey
