Joseph Patti Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 18, 2024.
Joseph Michael Patti, known affectionately as "The King of Las Vegas," passed away on July 5, 2024, in Las Vegas, NV, at the age of 71 sorround by his family. Born on July 4, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, Joseph's life was marked by his dedication to his family and his craft.

Joseph graduated from West Lyden High School and soon after embarked on a career that would define much of his life. He began as a journeyman carpenter in Chicago and ascended to the prestigious position of President of the Carpenters Union in Las Vegas. Known for his hard work, kindness, and humor, Joseph was not only highly respected in his profession but also deeply loved by those who worked alongside him. He took great pride in being a union worker, a testament to his commitment to his fellow workers and the country he cherished.

Beyond his professional achievements, Joseph was a devoted family man and a life-long sports fan, particularly of Chicago teams. His hobbies included spending quality time with his family, watching his grandchildren grow, and indulging in his passion for collecting and reselling sporting equipment. Joseph's hobbies allowed him to connect with others and share in the simple pleasures of life.

Joseph's life was filled with the joy of family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kathryn, and their children: Teresa and her husband Paul, and Jaimie and her husband Bob. His brother Phil and his wife Gina, and his sister-in-law Terry. He was a doting grandfather to Alyssa, Noah, Gia, Carter, Audrina, and Alexandra, and a proud great-grandfather to Grace and Kane. Joseph's love and guidance will be a shining light and continue to influence their lives.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. and RoseMarie Patti, and his siblings Cynthia Zito, Deborah Patti, and Michael Joseph Patti. His memory will be cherished by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and a wide circle of friends.

A traditional memorial service celebrating Joseph's life will be announced at a later date. In recognition of Joseph's compassionate spirit, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Always and Forever Midwest Animal Sanctuary. Donations can be made through their website at (https://www.alwaysandfurever.org).

With Joseph's passing, the world has lost a man of integrity, warmth, and laughter. His legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Words, however kind, cannot mend your heartache, but those who care and share your loss wish you comfort and peace of mind. May you find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends.
May Joe´s memory be eternal and may he rest in peace with all our loved ones.
