Mr. Joseph Christopher Petit, age 42 of McDonough, Georgia passed away November 9, 2012. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Albert Frank Petit, Jr. and Sandra Diane Alexander Petit. Joseph was a graduate of Henry County High School, Class of 1988 and served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed family and friends, healthy exercise, the Bible and high performance vehicles and bicycles. Survivors include his mother, Sandra Petit of McDonough; father, Albert (Carmen) Petit of Seffner, FL; sister, Brandie Petit (Chris) Robinson of Locust Grove; nephew, Seth Alexander Nelms; niece, Lani Belle Robinson; grandmother's, Frances Brooks of McDonough and Doris Jett Brown of Villa Rica; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 4:00 â€“ 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to any Disabled Veteran's Organization in memory of Joseph.
