Joe left behind an absolute legacy. He was such a big part of so many of our lives, pieces of who he is will go on forever.
It's hard to pick a single memory to share. Riding on his shoulders as a baby, riding on his bike as a child, stepping through that back door more times than I can count, just to feel at home. I remember working in his garden with him, watching the tomatoes grow. I remember him setting up the computer for me to play on, and printing out my "artwork" so I could take it home. I remember him. He was always there, and he always will be, because none of us will forget.

Joe was a very gentle, kind man. When I would visit my son's family in Los Angeles, Joe and Elma would drive down and we would enjoy lunch at our favorite Chinese restaurant. Those visits will be sorely missed.

Joe will be greatly missed. I am honored to have witnessed some beautiful memories of the joy and love he had for Elma, the kids and the grandchildren. Rest in peace Joe.
