Pauline Marek Obituary
She enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1943. She became an apprentice Seaman at ONOP Chicago, Ill., and was honorably discharged in 1945 as an Aerpgrapher's Mate Third Class. She also earned several military awards for good conduct, two campaign ribbons, a WWII combat ribbon and several citations for good work.
Pauline married Rudolph "Rudy" Yedinak in 1949. She was also a Christian, a Charter Member of the Women's Memorial Foundation, VFW Post 6758 and the Local American Legion in Nixa, Mo. She also enjoyed crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings,
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., on Monday, December 20, 2010 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
