Dolores, Andy, Paulette and your families, I am so sorry to hear about Joe passing away. I have many fond childhood memories that involved him and your family. He truly was a wonderful man and a great friend to my dad. I had the pleasure of talking briefly with him a few weeks ago and it brought back the childhood memory of the weekly calls asking "is daddy home" of course asking only after he pretend to be someone else. Hearing his voice always put a smile on my face. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. He will be forever missed but forever will watch over us all. Love, Sue Lauricella

We cannot express the enormous loss we are witness to. Your family and friends must carry on without you. A better friend we've never had, no we think more a brother. We love you Joe.

Our sincere sympathy to each of you. Beto and I cannot express how sad we were to hear this news. We feel so privileged to have known Joe. He was such a warm, kind and giving person. He was an angel here on earth and now he's an angel in Heaven. May all the wonderful memories help you in the times ahead. May he RIP.

There are no words that i know of that can describe my relation with Joe. It was as if we had a connection that we understood each other as if we were one in each other. I always will be grateful for that.He was understanding and kind to me and my family regardless of his situations. He will be remembered and loved always. Leonard Lauricella and family

Grandpa, you have been the GREATEST grandfather a man like me can ask for. It was so suddenly when I heard the sad news. But I always love the memories we shared. Always asking me what size is my head, always taking down the cuckoo clock I hated during Christmas, pranking me with "what's that on your shirt". I love those times and will ALWAYS miss them. You gave something to me that I will cherish forever...your name. Your name that I will carry on forever and ever. I know that I haven't talked to you much in the last few months (due to college), but I regret it every second. You showed me the right and wrong to achieve the man I am today, giving me several kicks in the pants to make me go further to be a man. And now it's time to use those teachings I learned to carry your legacy in the family. Now, Amanda is in your hands and will never leave. The wolf spirits shall watch over you, protecting you while god protects you. It was an amazing run having you here down on earth. As much as I would love to be with you, I have a mission that isn't complete. And you know what that mission is...I love you grandpa. More than what love can give. You will be in my heart every single day.
P.S. My head is still an extra large.

Delores, Andy and Paulette,
I have such fond memories of your dad and our trips to Florida. Oh how he and my dad loved to play pranks, especially on the CB. They had such great CB radio code and lingo! Joe was a good man and such a great friend to my dad. May you find peace during this time and feel the love from all those around you.
Hugs,
Julie Wons (Lauricella)

Dad, you will ALWAYS be my hero and coach. I had the best childhood and life that a son could have because of you. You made everything happen perfectly in front of my eyes every time. You always made sure Mom was well taken care of, as well Paulette and myself and I will never forget your devotion, time, and love that you have given to us. It takes a hero like yourself to accomplish everything you did in life for us. I have some big shoes to fill and I will do my best to fill them. And yes we will go fishing and play ball together in time again, but right now Grandma, Grandpa and Amanda are needing you right now to help out with Gods plan. One day I hope to be part of it but I still have work to do here. I will always remember you daddy, hero and my best friend. I love you
