JOSEPH RAMSEY Obituary
Age 81, of Avalon, on August 15, 2011, Joseph W. Ramsey. Beloved husband of Agnes M. Ramsey; father of Keith Ramsey (Carolyn Adams), Renee Taylor (Robert) and Eric Ramsey (Virginia); also daughter-in-law, Lynn Ramsey; brother of Lois Lopez; also six grandchildren, Beth, Kara Lynn, Cody, Mollie, Camryn and Jon; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ramsey was a retired experimental chef for the H. J. Heinz, Co. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MCDONALD- LINN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 529 California Ave. Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 12 p.m. at the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue.

Aunt Agnes and family.
You and Uncle Joe where always my favorite Aunt and Uncle. Uncle Joe was a kind gentle soul. I always enjoyed being around him and his wonderful smile and all the fun times we all had together. We all loved his quirks about his hair and his car. Our thoughts and prayes are with you all. Aunt Agnes we are always a phone call away any time you need somthing.

My favorite memory of Joe is his smile. It was the kind of smile that could light up a room and always made you feel he was genuinely glad to see you. I remember watching him roller blade up and down the street. He was so graceful and made it look so easy I gave it try...not as easy as Joe made it appear. Please accept our sincere condolences and know he is in a better place. May God help you all bear this loss. Sally & Shawn
