JOSEPH P., Jan. 6, 2004, of Newtown Square, formerly of Drexel Hill and Logan, Phila. PA, beloved husband of Susanne Remy (nee Edgcumbe); father of Susanne Madden (Dennis), Joseph (Diane), Stephen (Nancy) and Michael (Kathleen) Remy; brother of Tina Remy; grandfather of Joseph, Mary Kate, Anna, Dennis, Leslie, David, Andrew, Claire, Kelly, and Michael. Relatives and friends are invited to Concelebrated Funeral Mass Fri., 11 A.M., St. Mary Magdalen Church, where friends may call in Church after 9 A.M. Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cem. No calling hours at Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to American Cancer Society, 1615 West Chester Pike, Suite 101, West Chester PA 19382, or St. Mary Magdalen Memorial Fund, 2430 N. Providence Rd., Media PA 19063, would be appreciated. Arr. by THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, WEST CHESTER PIKE, NEWTOWN SQUARE PA.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Joe "Mr. Remy" was a great man, who always took the time to give you a nice firm handshake and sincerely ask how you are doing. Some of my fond memories of Mr. Remy are the week, back in 1979, the Remy's took me in as a guest in their home, on the beach in Sea Isle City, Aronimink Swim Club, St. Dot's Football games, and poker nights with my Dad.
