Coach Joe Retton, I will always remember your wonderful and magical smile that would absolutely light up a room which fit perfectly with your kind, caring, and giving heart that I greatly admired! The feeling I always got from you when we spoke or were in the same space was "wow he really cares about people" and I could immediately tell it was genuine! Thank you for being you coach Retton because your inner blessings of love and caring were contagious and passed along by your wonderful wife and son David who has that same magical smile as his dad and shared also by so many others who's lives you touched! Coach, now you are walking with the Lord and as you have taken care of so many for so long he will now take good care of you forever! Love you Coach Retton! Archie Talley

Aunt Sis, Pat, Mike, A.D.: I was terribly sorry to hear about Uncle Hack, and I know you all will miss him. Everyone will. He was a rare type, generous and funny and ornery. I'm also sorry I can't be there with you now.

All the best, with love,

Judy, Pat, Michael & AD,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved husband and dad. When God created that model he sure broke the mold. What a wonderful man he was. He was always one of my best memories of Grant Town. When I was little it was always Hey Tutti Rone what you doin'. Then when I was older it was still Tuttie Rone what you doin and how is your family. He was the kindest, gentelest man I ever knew. You can bet this man went right to heaven. Were lucky when we get to keep our family for 80 some years. Please know you are all in my prayers and you've always been in my thoughts. I can't help but think of all of you everytime I see WVU playing on TV. Take care and my God bless all of you.
Love, Suzette
