Joseph Roszler, Jr. Obituary
Joe was born November 2, 1957, the son of Joseph (aka Grip/Chappie) and Hester (nee Dunn) Roszler, and grew up in the Midland Heights neighborhood, was a member of Boy Scouts, played Little League baseball, and graduated from Midland (Lincoln) High School (PA) in 1976. He moved to the Washington DC area in the 1980s where he chose a career in construction and enjoyed gardening, cooking and watching Steelers football.
Preceded in death by his father in 2017, mother in 2021, newborn sibling (1956), and nephew Bradley (2020), Joe also lost his longtime partner Debbie to ovarian cancer in 2013. Though they had no children together, Joe was a part of the lives of her two children, Heather and Ronald.
Joe leaves behind his daughter, Jennifer, and grandson Emmett. Surviving him are sister Deborah Roszler of Hanover, PA; brother John/wife Lisa Roszler of Boiling Springs, SC; sister Mary/husband Harold Tanner of Lorain, OH; nieces Dina, Erica, Ashley; many great nieces and nephews; scores of cousins; hundreds of friends.
Joe chose to be cremated. May he rest in peace.
