Pap was a very special person that we got to meet many years ago. He was a very friendly man who always had a smile on his face. I had the chance to care for him a week after Christmas we had some good conversations together , but he was stubborn when it came to him sitting in his chair. We will always remember his smile and his great sense of humor. He is now resting in peace with his wife he loved so much.

You will always and forever me in my heart Pap. You are the reason i joined the military i wanted to follow in your footsteps. My biggest regret is not being able to be there for the funeral...The military is unfair sometimes but you will never be forgotten. I love you Pap and know that you are in a better place with Gram.

He is going to be very missed by a lot of people. At least now he is back with his wife. Now he's going to have to look down on his newest great grandson Skyler Joseph Kozen. I wish they could have met but Skyler will know who he is and will never forget him. Last thing we said to each other was Love you, Don't let the bed bugs bite. That was our thing we said to each other every time we talked.
Rest in Peace and I will always love you Pappy Joe.
