Joseph Shane Obituary
Joe was born on February 10, 1940, in Mt. Kisco, NY. He was a Navy veteran who proudy served aboard the USS Essex aircraft carrier from 1958 to 1962. He was a die hard NY Yankees and NY Giants fan who also loved metal detecting and hitting golf balls up at the driving range.
Joe and Alba met when they were 16 years old and were married 5 years later on April 15th, 1961. Joe was an easy going hard working man with a soft spoken manner and a quick sense of humor. He often worked more than one job whole still making time to coach little league and be a Boy Scout leader.
He is survived by his loving wife Alba Claire Montalbano, his loving children, Gregory Joseph, Christopher Charles (Diana),Carla Marie and two grandchildren, Luke and Meg. Joseph will be forever missed beyond words. Services will be private, donations can be made to Parkinson foundation or the Dementia Society of America.
