Joseph Smith III Obituary
Kid, known affectionately by his preferred name, had a fulfilling career in the dry cleaner industry for over 15 years. He took pride in his work and was highly regarded by his colleagues and customers.
Joe Kid was a devoted member of the New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where he found solace and guidance.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter, DaReal Smith (Otoniel "Tito" Espinosa), his son, Breyon Harris, his sisters, Brenda D Cooper and Yolanda Sheppard, his granddaughters, Daejah Smith and Mariah Espinosa, as well as a host of nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
Joe Kidd was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Smith, his father, Joseph G Smith Jr., and his sisters, Cynthia Smith and Rebecca Smith great niece Angela Smith, great niece Lajaun Harris. Their memories will forever be cherished.
A ceremony to celebrate the life of Joe Kid will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
In loving memory of Joseph Joe Kid Smith, may he rest in eternal peace.

Joseph my 1st cousin I remember my daddy taking us as kids to visit/play over my Aunty Ethel´s house. Your cousins are your 1st best friends. You will be missed.

I'm always getting comments regarding my "fast walking", well, when i was younger i would walk with my dad to his moms house (up the street). For every one step he took , i had to take 3. He would look down at me and ask " Am I walking to fast?" I would say no (afraid he wouldn't let me go with him) and I did everything in my power to keep up with him. That's why to this day i walk fast. I love you dad you will surely be missed.
