The two men are shown here from two photos that I took. I just missed a dramatic moment, but I am pleased with this photo of Guy.

Guy helped us in the NASA/JSC community. I have been volunteering with an engineering society here since about 1999. Guy stayed involved and his member grade was upgraded to Fellow in this national organization (AIAA). Guy was Chair of AiAA Houston Section for 1969-1970. The Section started in 1962. Thanks to NASAWatch for informing me about this sad news. Guy will be missed and never forgotten.

Guy was a great friend when I represented TRW and the variable thrust rocket engine for the LEM. He made me feel a real part of the Apollo team. A great guy.

I am so proud be Guy's cousin. My dad, Guy's uncle, was just a few months older than he was and referred to him as "JG" until he died 8 years ago. They played together as little boys. I know from experience no amount of time with your loved one is long enough. You have my deepest condolences.

Guy was a big part of so many people's lives, including all of my kids. He was at all their swim meets and treated them as if they were family. He was a great man with a kind and giving heart. My family was truly blessed to have known and loved him.

To all of the wonderful Thibodaux family, please know that you are in my heartfelt thoughts and prayers. I am honored to have known Mr. Thiboduax through school and swimming; and fortunate to have gone to school with Amy. How wonderful that they are reunited in Heaven, and how heartbreaking to be here on Earth without him. I will treasure the memory of our last meeting at the Alvin High School pool for the annual alumni water polo games.
