JOSEPH TURCHI Obituary
TURCHIJOSEPH J., M.D., on July 3, 2015, age 82. He was an accomplished Jazz Pianist, an avid sailor and author and well loved by all. Predeceased by his beloved wife Rose Marie (nee Cavaliere) Turchi. Survived by his loving children Lisa Diebboll (Joseph), John Turchi (Karen), Joseph J. Turchi, Jr. (Marie) and Laura Vassallo (Ken), his sister Gloria Scarano and his cherished grand-children Hannah, Alaina, Sarah, Meg, Angela, Marie, Samantha and Stephen. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Monday 7-9 P.M. at the D'ANJOLELL MEMORIAL HOME OF BROOMALL, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall PA 19008. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at St. John Neumann Church (380 Highland La., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010). Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cem. Donations would be appreciated to the Kimmel Cancer Center, 925 Chestnut St., Phila., PA 19107.

2020 -- Joseph Turchi was one of the lights of my life for so many reasons. He will never be forgotten in my heart or my life for so long as I live. I'm at the age and stage where it won't be too long before we meet again; I look forward to it. I still have dreams in which I'm working with him again. We were a lucky bunch to have participated in part of his life.

Very sorry to hear of the death of Dr. Turchi. I was a nurse at Mercy Fitzgerald and have good memories of the care and compassion he exhibited in caring for his patients. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

Dear Lisa, John, Joseph, and Laura
This early July of 2015 has seen the passing of a beautiful soul from your lives and the lives of too many to count. The western sky coincidentally is showing the closest meeting of two planets signifying generosity and love and beauty Jupiter and Venus that we won't see again for years. I find it providential and symbolic of the special person your father was kind of a celebration of the heavens welcoming him; we won't see the likes of Joe Turchi for many years either. He was more than someone I worked for and with; he was a comrade in the onward sweep of life. I weep for our loss, while celebrating the joy and healing that your father brought to so many. I have always kept him in my heart, and always will. Know that you children, whom I often babysat for so many years ago, are also in my heart.
