Joseph Ubi Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 25 to Nov. 27, 2019.
A beloved son and brother, Joseph John "Joe Boy" Ubi, left this world in God's timing at 19 years on November 22, 2019. He was born in Huntsville, Alabama on December 31, 1999 to Dr. John and Grace Ubi. He grew up in Huntsville where he attended the Academy of Arts and Academics Elementary School. He then relocated to Meridianville, Alabama where he attended Meridianville Middle School and was currently attending Hazel Green High School. Joseph was a lover of everything good. He enjoyed listening to music and dancing in his typical one step fashion. He enjoyed good food and sparkling wine. He was funny, outgoing, and vivacious. He was a gentle soul that cared for anyone around him. He greeted everyone he met with open arms and acceptance. He was extroverted yet introspective. Joseph was a special young man. We will always remember his beautiful smile and infectious personality that would light up any room he stepped in. He was so loved by so many because he loved just as much. His presence in all our lives will be sorely missed. When you think of Joseph, celebrate the good memories of him. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Joe Boy" is survived by his parents, Dr. John and Mrs. Grace Ubi, brother, Johnny Ubi, Jr., all of Meridianville, Alabama; grandmother, Alice Usen of Nigeria; godmother and family, Beatrice Okirie, Atlanta, Georgia; aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends. Funeral service for John "Joe Boy" Ubi was at 12pm, Tuesday, November 26th at the Royal Chapel of Memories with Pastor Peter Oyedrian officiating. Interment was in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace.
