Joseph Vallet Obituary
Joseph worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator in Construction for many years. He was a longtime member of Hayes Baptist Church. Joseph enjoyed watching rodeos and hunting. Pa Joe loved to spend time with his friends and family but especially his grandkids.
Those left behind to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Harriet Vallet; daughters, Ruthie Vallet Cox and husband, Bozo of Sweetlake, Jo Ann Vallet of DeKalb, TX, Amanda "Mandy" Vallet Wheaton of Lacombe, LA; step-children, T.K. Addison and wife, Cheryl of Hackberry, Jeff Addison and wife, Melanie of Big Woods, Julie Benoit and husband, Scott of Hackberry; sister, Peggy Vallet of Bossier City, La; nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dolza and Chloe Vallet, and sisters, Laura Alice Vallet and Julia Jean Vallet.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at Hixson Funeral Chapel in Lake Charles. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Welsh, La. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhome.com
