I did not know Joseph Akeem but my heart is so sad he was so young i live out 103 E. and came up on wreck that night i felt really sad & bad when i read paper of his death but the Lord needed him more than this earth and he called him home that night but i know it still hurts & there are questions I only pray the memories of him and all the time you had him comforts you all till you meet again in heaven may the Lord Bless and keep you all strong your in my thoughts and prayers.

Our hearts was deeply sadden, when we heard the news of Akeem. We thank God that he came into our lives at an early age as a toddler. My son Kenny Parks & Akeem has been friends since the age of 2 years old and graduate together in 2005. I would like to say pray and trust in the Lord in your time of sorrow and he may comfort you. We will continue to pray for the family.

It seems like yesterday when I saw you going down the road and you yelled out "PANCAKE!!" Your friendship will truly be missed and I will keep you in my heart forever. It hurts my heart to know that you are gone physically - but I know that you are walking a better path.
