Joseph Zito Obituary
New York, NY: November 10, 2016, at age 74, after a long illness. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Marie Zito and nephew Brandon Zito. He is survived by his wife, Diane Berke; his daughter, Elizabeth; brother, Dr. Gene M. (Joanne) Zito; nieces, Aubrie and Tisa Zito and nephew Colby Zito.
Tony was a gifted physician and musician. He attended Albany Medical College, Payne Whitney Psychiatric Division of New York Hospital, the Eastman School of Music, and Juilliard School of Music. He was a passionate pianist and will always be remembered for his laughter, talent, and huge heart.
No prior calling hours. Donations may be sent to the Marie E. Zito, R.N. Scholarship Fund, Rochester General Hospital, 1425 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621.
