Elizabeth Lyde Obituary
Born in Meriden, she was the daughter of Ronald Blouin and Pamela (Preece) Flagg, both of Wallingford.
Elizabeth attended school in Meriden and in 1989 graduated from Hammonasset High School in Madison. Throughout her teens, she was well known for her singing ability and performed in many shows. After high school, she graduated from Capitol College in Hartford in 2002 as an LPN. Elizabeth had lived in Middletown for the past seven years and was a member of Victory Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is survived by two sons, Kyle and Benjamin Lyde of Middletown and her sister, Stacey Shields of Wallingford.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. at Victory Christian Church, 191 Meriden Road, Middlefield, with Pastor Roy Bauer officiating. Burial will follow in State Veterans' Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. and may send messages of condolence to the family at www.doolittlefuneralservices.com.
The Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church St., Middletown, is handling the arrangements.
