I remember Jo as an excellent athelete, not only in tennis, but every sport played at Rogers Jr. High and Wilson High. Sending my condolences. Ann Jackson Cantrell, Wilson High Class 1951

I am riding in the Buffalo Bicycling Classic, which raises scholarship funds for University of Colorado students, in honor of Mom. She supported philanthropy, was an avid fan of the Buffs, and CU is what brought her to Colorado. Seems a great fit for her. ~ Kathleen

If you knew my mom, you knew there was no one else like her. She lived with boldness, humor, and an unapologetic flair that made every room brighter-and far more interesting. This photo is classic Jo.
She taught us not to take life too seriously, to show up exactly as we are, and to laugh-loudly and often. Her spirit was rebellious, stylish, and deeply loving. She left behind a legacy of joy, individuality, and fierce independence.
We´ll miss her sparkle, her sass, and her unwavering authenticity-but we´ll carry them forward in everything we do.

Love and miss you every single day, Mom! You were the absolute best. I see much of you in me. I will always cherish that. Kathleen
