Josephine Rose Lattanzi

LATTANZI, Josephine Rose. (nee Nardone) Age 95 of Warren. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family January 16, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Guido. Loving mother of Antoinette Shukwit (the late John), Andrew (Linda), and Frank (Sharon). Proud and loving grandmother of Robert (Patricia), Michael (Karyn), and David (Kathie) Shukwit, Linda (Mark) Sykes, Kristina (Doug) Malcolm, Steve Lattanzi, Charles and Grant Kier, and the late Ellen Lattanzi. Also surived by 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving parents Angelo and Marie, and her siblings Lucy, Alvera, Pauline, Ninn, and Edward. Josephine was a longtime member of St. Dorothy Catholic Church in Warren, and was a proud member of the Daughters of Isabella. She retired from the Detroit Public School System. Visitation Monday 3-9pm with a 7pm Rosary at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Tuesday 9:30am until time of 10am Mass at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church (formerly St. Dorothy), 12255 Frazho (W. of Schoenherr). Interment, Resurrection Cemetery.
