Deepest sympathy to our dear friends in the Strange Family.

My earliest memories include my sweet Aunt Jo. She remains my shining light, my model of a woman who has been kind, loving, hard working, hard playing, dignified and loyal to friends and family. I've always loved my Aunt Jo and I always will. I look forward to someday seeing her on the other side we call heaven and getting a forever hug. Cheri Lea Strange Hager

Jo was our families neighbor when we lived on Yates Street. Right across the street. Connie used to come over and look after myself and my siblings. Jo was a beautiful compassionate person and I am so Happy I had pleasure of knowing her for over 40 years. God Bless Jo. The Strange family is in my prayers.Love you all. Beth Rykhus aka Liz Krause.

From the day I was born until the day I see you again, Grams, you have been the brightest light in my life and I have loved you and admired you with all my heart. I will carry your light with me forever and ever. You made me, and all of your other grandchildren feel like we were the most important thing to you, giving us your undivided attention no matter what you had going on, which was always more than most other people could handle. Thank you for making me feel I could talk to you about absolutely anything, for not ever judging me and for always giving me reassurance, encouragement and sage advice. Thank you for giving me my beautiful Mom, my precious Aunt, and four amazing Uncles. You created a family that will stick together through good times and bad, like you have always done with all of us. I can't imagine life without you and will look forward every day to seeing you again. I love you most, my precious Grams.

Jo was my mother-in-law. What a great lady she was, She has inspired me to want to be like her when I get older. She never complained about her health as some do, but tried always to see the brighter side of life. But did not bury her head in the sand either. She was a fun grandma to our children, and we will miss her very much. I was blessed to never have any mother-in-law problems like some people do. She was easy to be around and made you feel warm and welcomed. Thanks mom!

Jo was always very kind and loving toward my son, Jeremy, and I. She always included us in the family reunions when Gary and Karan came out to visit. We will look forward to seeing her again in paradise as Jehovah has promised.

Love to all of the family. Pat (Karmann) Kida, Paul Kida and Jeremy Karmann

What a great reunion there was in heaven this week, as Jo was welcomed home by her son, Del, and one of her favorite nieces, Trish. May the fact that they are all together now, full of peace, joy and everlasting happiness bring peace and comfort to all who loved Jo so much and will forever miss her.

Peace and grace,
