Josephine Diaz Todd Our family would like to share the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Josephine Diaz Todd who died peacefully just after four o'clock am, Monday the 18th of August 2008. Josephine Diaz Todd was 83 years old and would have celebrated her 84 birthday next week. She was born August 27, 1924 in Morenci, Arizona to Wenseslado Diaz and Teresa Limon. She married Donald Ray Todd on January 5, l946; he preceded her in death on October 29, 1996; as well as her parents, brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons Tomas Diaz Todd, Carlos Diaz Todd, Donald Ray Todd Jr., Frank Daniel Todd and James Howard Todd as well as her only daughter, Kathleen Theresa Todd. She was greatly loved by all her grandchildren: granddaughters, Cassandra Herrera, Christina Herrera and Elyse Ann Todd; and grandsons, Justin Todd Noriega, Jason Todd Noriega, John Allen Todd, Michael Todd, Frank James Todd, Gregory Mitchell Todd and Donald Ray Todd Martin III.; Great grandchildren, Ashlie Herrera, Alyiah Herrera-Cording, Nikolas Walls, Giovanni Walls, Charla Mae Castro, John C. Martin, Michael Martin, Etman Noriega, Tank Noriega, Jaysa Dreher, Jaisman Zerr and Evan Ray Todd. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Josephine was a loving and dedicated mother to all six children. She provided a stable background and steady influence throughout the years. We were truly blessed to have Josephine whom we admired and respected. She supported us in achieving our goals in life. Josephine had a wonderful sense of humor, a strong sense of family and will always be remembered for her love and compassion. The Rosary will be Saturday August 23, 2008 at the Sacred Heart in Clifton Arizona at 9:30 A.M. with the funeral mass to follow at 10:00 A.M. Interment procession to follow immediately to the Duncan Cemetery in Duncan Arizona with memorial reception afterwards. Those wishing to send flowers are instead encouraged to contribute to their favorite local charity or make a donation in Josephine Todd's name to the American Diabetic Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
