Published by Legacy Remembers from Sep. 5 to Sep. 8, 2009.
JOSHUA GLEN ARMSTRONG September 6, 1992 September 2, 2009 With profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, Joshua Glen Armstrong. Joshua leaves behind an unique and loving family. We will forever sadly miss Joshua but he has now been set free from his long and painful suffering after an amazing, courageous battle with cancer. Joshua was born on September 6, 1992 in Regina SK at the Pasqua Hospital. Joshua attended St. Catherine Elementary School and Miller high School. Joshua was a real sportsman. He loved playing hockey, track and field, riding his bike and had developed a passion for fishing and was quite proud of his most recent catch on January 20, 2009 of a 19 lb. Northern Pike. Joshua will be lovingly remembered by his devoted mother, Nicole Armstrong as well as numerous other family members and friends who were close to his heart. Our family will be forever grateful to the staff at Pasqua Hospital for their care and diligence with our beloved Joshua. Joshua died peacefully on September 2, he took his last breath of life to be with God and loved ones that have passed before him where there is no pain and disease on the other side. A Celebration of Joshua's Life will be held from 2:00 2:30 p.m. with a Funeral Mass to follow at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Holy Child R.C. Parish, 2636 7th Ave. E., Regina, SK with Fr. Lorne D. Crozon as Celebrant. Donations in Joshua's memory may be made to the Chris Knox Make A wish Foundation, P.O. Box 267, Kelvington, SK, S0A 1W0 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St., Regina, SK S4P 2R3. Paragon Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements. 359-7776

Nicole and Family
You are in our Hearts and Prayers. Josh fought a gallant battle with a never ending positive outlook that was infectious to many, including Jess and I. Josh really helped me in a time when I couldn't make sense of it all. He helped Jess by being so positive about her battle. He spent many a day at my kitchen table amazing me with his profound wisdom that was so beyond his years. I believe that he has earned his wings many a time over. Take comfort in knowing that Josh and yourselves are Loved by many. He is in Heaven and I am sure he has found that perfect fishing spot to Rest easy, as he so deserves just that..To Rest Easy in Paradise.

I commend Josh for his braverly and strength through his battle with cancer. He was a strong fighter and dealt with a lot, most of which we all will never have to go through. I commend his mother Nicole for her strength and she was very dedicated. It was very moving to see both their strength together as they worked through his illness. I knew Josh because when he was in the hospital I was to bring him to his treatments to help with the cancer. Being a mother of 2 boys and watching his strength eventhough he never said much I admired him and I was moved by his family. Josh, you were loved by many people and I am grateful that you are finally able to no longer suffer. You showed a courage and strength that many rarely see. My prayers are with the family
