JOSHUA DREW COHEN, age 24, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away at the Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA on Friday, December 29, 2006. Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of Thomas W. Cohen of Baltimore, MD and Linda S. Dollar of Kennett Square, PA. He was a Landscaper for Billy Hicks and Mike Powers both of Unionville, PA. Joshua was a 2000 graduate of Unionville High School. He was an outstanding athlete and played basketball, baseball, football and wrestling. He won many trophies and awards, and was an all-star player in basketball and baseball. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed playing football. He was a member of the Kennett Square Missionary Baptist Church In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Donna Dishman and her husband Ruben of Columbia, PA and Jennifer Dollar of Kennett Square, PA, two nephews, Jayden Dishman and Justin Dishman., his paternal grandmother, Mary Cohen of Media, PA. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Thomas N. Cohen, his maternal grandparents, Arie and Rosa Dollar. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 Friday morning, January 5, 2007, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, Inc., 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening, January 4, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00, and again on Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that contributions be made to the Joshua Drew Cohen Memorial Fund, c/o WSFS Bank, 830 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
