Rod and Penny, Our family will miss Josh very much. Penny, I shared with you long ago how my neice, Brittney, was diagnosed with a brain tumor the same month Josh was and my whole extended family began praying for Josh then. Although we lost Britty 2 1/2 yrs later, we continued praying for Josh daily. He has been a big part of our family without even knowing it! What a blessing he has been! We lift your family now in our love and prayers. It gives me comfort to know that when Josh got to Heaven, I know he gave Britty one of his amazing hugs, and we will all see them both one day soon! Rod, Penny, and family,
I am so saddened to learn of Josh's passing. Josh was an amazing person who made everyone around him smile! He always stayed strong, worked so hard and was an inspiration to all of us! You have such a beautiful family, and although this will be so very hard for all of you, I know that you will have the love and strength from many people around you to help you through.
Luke 23:43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Josh is now healed, and I just know he's laughing, probably making crazy eyes, and telling our Lord to "Bring it on!" :) I know that heaven is a little bit better now with him there.

Josh was a joy to have in driver's ed. His sweet personality will always be remembered. We pray dilligently for your family in the days and weeks to come and will all look forward to one day when we will all be united with our Savior.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I recall sitting on a plane, listening to your stories of you and your son hunting. A very special relationship between a boy and his father, and it sounded like you and Josh had exactly that.

I am so very sorry to hear of the tragedy of the loss of Josh. Even though I never got to personally meet him, I felt I knew him because of Rod's love of Josh and the sharing of his accomplishments through the years.
