Sandra Hutchens Obituary
October 17, 1950 - August 30, 2022
Sandra Sue Sandlin Hutchens, age 71, of Browns Summit, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 30, 2022 after a long illness. She was born October 17, 1950 to the late John William Sandlin and Rosa Adabelle Marshall Sandlin. Sandra retired after a long career with Bellsouth as a coin collector. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Christopher Brian Hutchens, two grandchildren, Christopher and Matthew Hutchens of Gibsonville, sister Jane Sutton, and many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to her niece Caroline McKinney for all the caregiving, hard work and love she gave to Sandra.
Sandra will be remembered for the fun pool parties, Easter egg hunts, cook outs, and any reason to have family and friends gather.
We will miss her quick lively wit, the laughter, and her beautiful smile and the smell of her favorite perfume, "Youth Dew."
A celebration of life covered dish will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 1 p.m. at the home of her sister, 5101 Mockingbird Road, Greensboro, NC 27406. Please share a fond memory. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation at the celebration.

Sandra was a wonderful friend that will be missed. We talked on the phone a lot. When I was first diagnosed with MS she was so sweet telling me that everything would be okay. She is with God now but still letting everyone know that everything will be okay.
