Joshua Geiger Obituary
His friends and family called him Josh or "Big Josh." Josh was a kind and sensitive soul. He expressed great pride, concern, and protectiveness of family from the time he became an older brother as a young boy, and these traits only intensified when he got married and became a father. Josh loved nothing on earth more than his sons Tyson and Coleman. He continued to express great concern for his family through his final hours.
Josh grew up in Mt. Horeb and graduated from Mt. Horeb High School before working in the trades. Josh found solace in the outdoors and had a passion for fishing and hunting. He had a special talent for finding that big fish, no matter how unfamiliar he was with the lake. He took great pride in providing his family fish and venison that he had caught and prepared.
Josh is survived by his sons Tyson and Coleman; his former wife Natalie Geiger; his mother Linda Harris; his father Michael (Wanda Anderson) Geiger; his brothers Aaron (Krista Hanley) Geiger and Austin Wallschlager; his nephew Lucian Geiger; his grandmothers Dorothy Harris and Ruth Geiger; his stepbrothers Justin (Kate) Aeschbach, Joshua (Stacia) Aeschbach and Jared (Chelsea) Aeschbach; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfathers Kelly Harris and Alfred Geiger Jr.
At the request of Josh, there will be no service held in his honor. However, if you would like to make a contribution in his memory, donations can be made to the "God Touch Ministry" at N1355 Poeppel Road, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538, which can also be reached at 920-728-4555. Mr. John Anhalt (of God Touch ministry) provided help for Josh at a moment when his health placed him in desperate need. This help ultimately allowed for Josh and his family to experience priceless time together in his final weeks. We will be forever grateful to John.
Joshua James Geiger will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
