Joshua Alvin Arlo Guthrie

Joshua Alvin Arlo Guthrie, 47, native of Moline, Illinois passed away Wednesday, May 5th in Sarasota, Florida.
Josh was born April 6th, 1974, the son of Leroy Guthrie and Denise Finch. He graduated from Moline High School in 92' and went on to earn a degree in culinary arts at Black Hawk College. He was known for his cooking abilities in the kitchen and wearing a chef uniform.
As well as cooking, Josh enjoyed days on Siesta Key and Lido beach, and loved to share those moments with his family and friends. Other hobbies included fishing, golfing, bike riding, and spending memorable time with his family. Josh was rarely seen without a contagious smile. His jokes and laugh could light up a room. He loved unconditionally and lived life to the fullest, or as he would say, "I'm living my best life."
Those left close to honor his memory are his daughters, Michaela (25) and Madison (21) Guthrie of Moline, fiancé, Hayley Leeson of Sarasota, mother, Denise Finch of Sarasota, siblings, Abigail Jackson of Burlington, Iowa and Chayo Thomas of Moline, as well as nine nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Guthrie, sister, Andi DeKeyzer, maternal grandmother, Bonnie Seale, and maternal great grandmother, Pearl Teebe.
A celebration of life will take place Saturday, May 22nd beginning at 4 p.m. Anyone who loves Josh is welcome to join on a come and go basis at 17024 Illinois 5, East Moline, Illinois 61244.
