I am heartbroken for our loss. Josh was a sweet, kind person who I will think of fondly and miss deeply. His memory will always brighten my day and bring a smile to my face.

Josh: You are a true gem of a person. I will always cherish the amazing times we worked together, which eventually led us to become friends and even gave us the chance to share not just one workplace, but two. You are the kindest, funniest, and best hype man. I´m still in shock, but we love and miss you dearly. Forever grateful that our paths crossed. I know wherever you are: you are smiling, with an iced coffee in hand, and laughing. The best and most contagious laugh of all belongs to you. Love you and miss you, my friend.

Josh was one of the most wonderful humans I´ve ever met. He always made me feel seen and special. We went from coworkers to friends, and then I had the absolute privilege and pleasure of having Josh as my boss for the last 4 years. Let me tell you, he was the greatest manager I´ll ever have. The most supportive, the kindest, and the best hype man. He made me believe I was worthy and valued. He was a mentor to me but much more than that he was a close friend. There´s a Josh sized hole in my heart. Sending love and condolences to Chris and their families, he was such a bright light and will forever be missed.

Josh was such a pure radiant source of joy and happiness. It was a privilege to share community with him, both in Provincetown & New York City. He will be deeply missed, but his bright light will shine on.

He was such a lovely human to be around at IU, the world definitely is better with people like Josh. Rest in Peace.

Josh and I worked at Grey together. Each month we had a "Grey Gays" happy hour and Josh was always ready to hang and had a huge smile on his face. His energy was so positive and bright. The few times I hung out with Josh and Chris and their friends I could tell that Josh was much loved and it was obvious why. We hadn´t spoken in several years but his loss hits hard. What a great guy. You are missed.

Once a Singing Hoosier, always a Singing Hoosier. We lost touch after college, but I'll always remember his laugh, smile, and love of music. Rest easy friend.

I was heartbroken to hear of Josh´s passing. He was such a special person in my life - one of my earliest mentors in my career, and even after we stopped working together, we always stayed in touch. We kept each other updated on life events, cheered one another on, and I would often say I couldn´t wait for the day we´d get to work together again.

Josh brought joy and light into every room. He made work fun, and he reminded me that good people truly do exist in this world. Everyone loved Josh! His spirit was so free, so vibrant, and so uniquely him. I´ll never forget his videos of dancing in the street with an iced coffee in hand -that was Josh in a nutshell: fun, fearless, and full of life.

He left a huge impact on me, and I feel such sadness knowing there will be no more conversations, no margarita plans, no new memories to make. It feels so unfair that his light is gone from this earth, but I know his memory and the joy he shared will last forever. I hope he´s dancing and singing in heaven now, just as freely as he did here.

I´m keeping Chris and their families/friends in my prayers for strength, comfort, and healing during this incredibly difficult time. It was such an honor to know Josh, and I will carry his impact with me always.

The last time I saw Josh was our last HS reunion! It was great! He was a ball of fun! He was a great guy and my heart goes out to his husband, family and friends.

I have known Josh since 1st grade and so many of my memories at Maplewood include him. He was sweet, charismatic and a great friend. He had a beautiful voice and he made you feel good when you were around him. He was always smiling and laughing. We were in excel classes together and he was a source of great support for me when I was clearly different from the rest of my classmates. Rest in peace Josh, you will truly be missed.

Josh was an incredibly sweet human and a bright light in this world. I feel honored to have known him. My heart breaks for his family and this tragic loss.

I had the privilege of having Josh as my children´s nanny for two years. Simply put, he brought joy and sunshine into my home at a time when it was much needed. My kids absolutely loved him, and we regularly talk about him to this day - he is a key player in the Meyer family lore! I am truly grateful for having had the opportunity to have him in our lives. My deepest condolences to Chris, Josh´s family, and his wide circle of friends who clearly adored him.

Josh was incredibly kind and had a smile that lit up a room. I wasn´t lucky enough to know him for long, but he would act as though he has been waiting to spend time with you for ages. He had a never ending supply of love. You will be missed diva. Chris we love you and are here for you anytime.

I'll never forget the first hug from you. As if we were long lost friends even though we had only know each other through socials and shared circles. You'll be missed deeply. Rest is pride and peace.

I´m sending all of my love and thought to Chris who I haven´t met but like Josh knew through Instagram and there was just this incredible warmth and kindness from Josh even just on the screen that overtime you begin to realize what a great person he was and seeing all of these memories, an impact on the world that he had. May his memory be a blessing.

Josh was, and remains, a beautiful spirit! I never saw him without a smile on his face, and light in his eyes. Will miss him terribly.

Josh was part of my recruiting team at Rakuten. Josh brought only peace, joy and excellence to our team. He was such a joy to work with and such a kind hearted beautiful person. My families thoughts, prayers and love are with Josh´s family and loved ones.

Josh and I were in choir together back in Indy (ICC). Even at a young age he lit up the room and had everyone laughing. I have so many fond memories of him from our tours. I have kept in touch with him online over the years and have loved watching all of the fun he has had with his husband and friends. He will be missed by so many.

It´s so hard to believe that Josh is gone from this Earth. He was so upbeat, so pumped full of energy. Josh had an unshakeable zest for life. It´s hard to grasp his passing. His love for his "people", his doggies, and particularly his sweetest boo, Chris, was unmistakable. Josh could always put a smile on your face. Unafraid to dance or throw shade, he marched to his own beat and he wore the clothes! A handsome, loving, wonderful man. His leaving leaves a gap-a gaping void. My husband and I had the privilege of meeting Joshua and his husband in PTown several weeks ago. What a kind human being. A tremendous loss for his husband family, friends and world. Very sad.....

There are so many HS memories with Josh in them. Belting out Spice Girls in his car, snagging Rally´s fries, two musicals, countless choirs, Josh never ceased to push us all to believe in ourselves and that there was absolutely NOTHING we could not accomplish. He was truly an amazing soul that is gone entirely too soon. Praying for his husband Chris who he lived to rave about last time we caught up, and his family that he loved so fiercely during this time.

Josh had a magical way of making you feel welcomed, loved and fierce. Definitely fierce. He was a bright light that just beamed. Sending prayers and love.

Oh Josh. It never mattered how much time had passed, we all picked up from where we left off. Your time on this rock was short, but the impact you made is enormous. Rest easy.

Though we may have fallen out of touch in recent years, Josh has left an indelible mark on my life through our time together in junior high and high school. I will cherish the memories of your infectious fun-loving spirit, your incredible positivity, and your immeasurable creativity. From Excel classes and lunch 4C at South Wayne to choir and Godspell at BD, we were coconspirators in shenanigans, cowriters of silly songs, and most importantly, cohorts sharing life and growing up together. You left this world way too soon. I pray that your family finds comfort and peace in their fond memories of all the joy you've brought this world.

I´m overcome by emotion thinking of my dear friend, Josh. In High School, we were close friends. He was on the Homecoming court his senior year, my junior year, and I was his date. He was crowned Homecoming King (No surprise lol). We went to the after party and sang Spice Girls and Cristina Karaoke to our hearts content. He dragged me to Rocky Horror Picture Shows, encouraged me to try out for the musical, Music Man, and I got to visit him down at IU in some of his performances while I was at Purdue. He was always a supporting friend from afar- giving me encouragement in those early years when I was raising my son as a single mom. It has been 15 years ago since I got to meet up with Josh in NYC. He was simply the best and radiated joy. There are a handful of humans in my life, some that are no longer here that made me feel special and brave. Josh was in that handful. My sincerest condolences to his love, Chris and his beautiful family. Josh will forever be in my heart

Josh always had the best laugh, radiant smile and a great sense of humor. His light was bright and his accomplishments and his friendships are proof he made a lasting impact. Sending love and support to his family, husband and friends.

There are many words swirling around in my brain about Josh - but the one that keeps coming to the top is "joy." The joyous life he led, the joy he brought others, the joy emanating from his very being every time he stepped into the room or onto the dance floor. He was a formative presence in my time at IU, and I'm grateful for the memories we shared in the years that followed. He will be truly missed. Thinking of his loved ones during this extremely difficult time.

That infectious smile that lit up every room, every conversation, every interaction will forever be remembered, cherished, and missed.

I´m heartbroken. I´ve known Josh for over a decade. We both found ourselves living in the Washington Heights/Inwood area after the pandemic and I literally just ran into him on the street before I left for the job I´m currently on. We agreed we´d connect again after I returned. He gave me the best hug in that moment. This sucks.

I will forever cherish the moment you told me to call you after I received a worrisome email only for you to tell me that everything was fine and not to worry. I feel like that moment is a great example of your boundless kindness and empathy.

Well, it feels strange to say this, but I never actually met Josh in person. We were Instagram friends, and aside from him always saying how cute my kiddos were, we´d talk about shows and things like that. One of the last things we joked about was that I loved Boop, and therefore, had good taste, lol. We had said this would be the year we´d finally grab that drink we´d been talking about for years. My heart goes out to his husband, family, and friends. I´ll truly miss our chats and chuckles. Be well, Josh.

I had an opportunity to work with Chris and Josh when they purchased their place in Provincetown and they were a delight. I was so happy to get to know them over the last several years here. They are loved by many. Thinking of you all at this very sad time and hope you can take comfort in your many wonderful memories of Josh - a sweet, young man gone way too soon.
