We both played trumpet in West Jefferson high school, marching band, and all I can remember was how chill he was and my dude smile was always bright! I remember when we added him to the crew to march in a parade and we didn´t have all of the uniforms prepared so when he got his, it was a little too small and we made fun of the Highwater pants lol

Josh was a great dude, and hell of a trumpet player. Every time I was ever in his presence, he had a great joyous spirit, and always had a funny joke to tell.

Rest in Gods loving arms Joshua Ward so happy to have had the opportunity to experience such a kind, genuine soul, like yourself. At the young age of 31 the impact you left on everyone around, tells the kind of BIG heart you had. My prayers are forever with your kids and family, who I know you ADORED so much! Your Memories will live in my heart forever watch over us

I remember Josh as "That Dude". Bigger than life smile and he lived his life full of passion. Humble giant that would give you the shirt off his back. He gave back by helping others to understand just how important playing music can be to their lives. Thank you Josh for pouring into our lives at B. O. E

I Bless the name of the Lord and give Him all the glory , honor and praise .
I´m Josh´s barber Marvin .
He was truly a beautiful soul .
We had countless amounts of deep conversations
We would laugh and clown around so much . It always was a joy when he and Bj would stop by .
Josh was also very intelligent and wise beyond his years.
Although he is greatly missed I´m so glad my last interaction with him was full of
laughter and brotherly appreciation.

Josh was one of the anchors for me before, during, and after my own dad´s death. He was always charismatic, loving, funny, and caring. A true family man through and through. He´s resting in God`s memory, and I can´t wait to see him again.
