No matter how much time we have to prepare our hearts, it still hurts so very much when we have to say goodbye and let go. May you find comfort in the knowledge that Joy is finally free and at peace.
Roger, please remember to take all the time needed to go through the entire greiving process. It will not be easy but you will eventually complete all phases of the process and come out a much stronger person with only the heartfelt and wonderful memories of Joy.

I am so glad Joy's suffering is now over. I have enjoyed being a sister-in-law to Joy for 42 years. We had lots of fun family times together in years past. She was a wonderful cook and oh how she used to enjoy her flowers. The garage sales, church festivals, and many holidays spent together will remain in my memory forever. Remember we will all be together again someday and she will be there waiting for us. Our prayers are with all of you at this sad time.
