BARBIERI, Joyce M. Joyce M. (Weingart) Barbieri, 66, of McKay Street, Torrington, Connecticut died Tuesday, (August 2, 2004) at her home. She was the wife of Joseph Barbieri. Born April 29, 1938 in Sharon, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Gottfried and Lucille (Brown) Weingart of New Hartford, Connecticut. She was employed by Eagle Federal Bank as a Vice President of the Teller Department. She was a member of the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Auxiliary, The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Women's Club and the Altrusa Club. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is survived by three sons, Ray and his wife Joyce Kay Barbieri of Torrington, Connecticut, James and his wife Nancy Barbieri of New Hartford, Connecticut, Brian and his wife Kim Barbieri of Goshen, Connecticut, two brothers, Jack Weingart of Florida, David Weingart of New Hartford, Connecticut; a sister, Barbara Palmer of Ocala, Florida, four grandchildren, Rachel Barbieri, Raven Barbieri, Gillian Barbieri, Zachary Barbieri, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 6, at 10 a.m. at The LaPorta-Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield Street, Torrington, Connecticut. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 5, from 6-9 p.m. at The LaPorta-Cook Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Auxiliary, c/o President of the CHH Auxiliary, 540 Litchfield Street, Torrington, CT 06790 or to The Center for Cancer Care, 200 Kennedy Drive, Torrington, Connecticut 06790.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. Joyce is now at peace and I'm sure in a better place. I will always remember our good times we had amongst playing setback on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons.
