May it be some comfort that Joyce's classmates and friends are thinking of you, Phyllis, Doug and all the family, with deepest sympathy. We'll miss Joyce very much and we treasure the happy memory of the WHS Class of 1958 gathering at the Couture's for our mutual age 70 birthday party a few years ago. We will always remember her generous good spirit and drive.

Joyce was such a wonderful person, and great leader of so many of the Fitchburg Cycling Club adventures I fondly remember. I especially remember the cycling trip to Nantucket Island, staying in her familie's cabin on Camel's Hump mountain, and many other cycling, camping and hiking trips. I will always cherish her warmth, humor and sense of adventure.

Joyce will always be a shining star in my life. I valued her friendship and treasured the wealth of information she'd share with me and others in our 50+ Fitness Group. She was a great example for all of us of what people could strive to be. Set the bar high and keep working at it -- you'll get there one day -- just don't give up. She never gave up. I admired her and I will miss her greatly.

Dear Doug, Joyce has always been an inspiration as she embarked on adventures with such vigor. Working out with her a number of years ago at Global Fitness in Leominster is where I came to meet and admire her. I am so Sorry for Your Loss. I, for one, will remember her Always with that beautiful Smile.
Sincerely, Barbara Farnsworth

A complete shock and devastating for Doug, her family and friends. I knew Doug and Joyce when we were all members of the Fitchburg Cycling Club, many years ago. Remember many wonderful times together and will remember her wonderful smile and sense of adventure. May she Rest In Peace and her memory live on. So very sorry for your loss.
