I was so sad to hear of Miss Joyce’s passing. What a wonderful lady, family matriarch, and friend to many communities. I feel Blessed to have known her and to know she helped me become the person I am, as she was my teacher and mentor being my Brownie- Girl Scout leader in those important formative years....Such great memories of lessons, songs, adventures around town and exploring Seaside Farms, and above all, so much joy! I will be forever grateful for those wonderful memories.

Way back in the early 80' in Coronado, this fine lady arrived and graced us with a very happy visit that I have never forgotten - many stories of young kids growing up, quips that were funny as describe by others, and a very happy time was had by all.
She was truly one of one!

I was so sorry to hear that Joyce passed away. She was a very kind , helpful, and friendly person. I will never forget her especially her kindness. My prayers and thoughts are with the family during this time of grief.

When we received the devastating news that Joyce had passed, we could not imagine the depth of the families grief !! Knowing both Joyce and Charlie since he and I started medical school in1951, her infectious personality and sincerity was the highlight of any gathering. We will all miss her loving spirit and sincerity. Our prayers are with all the families.

Charlotte and I met Joyce several times at social occasions involving the Church. I was always impressed by Joyce's intelligence, warm spirit and kind heart. Perhaps our shared part-Sicilian heritage caused a connection and I am saddened by her leaving this world, but we know she is the Ultimate Place. May she Rest in Peace and Perpetual Light shine shine upon her.
