To the family of Ms. Dossey,
Please know that you are in our hearts & prayers. Joyce was a very special person, and was always interested in how my children were doing, especially David JR. He always looked up to her for her guidance and even just a hug now and then. He will miss here greatly, as will the rest of us. But we are assured that we will see her & Mel again when we meet in HEAVEN with our Lord, Jesus.

Joyce Dossey was a very special lady. Ore City ISD and the community of Ore City were very blessed because of her. Her husband was my RA director at FBC Ore City and John was one my friends who never found it difficult to make someone laugh. Joyce will be greatly missed. The entire Walters-Dossey family is in my prayers. May God Bless You!

John, Thanks so much for calling today to tell us that Joyce had especially wanted you to contact us upon her demise. I'm so sorry that I wasn't home to talk to you myself. Joyce took me under her wing when I was a new teacher at Central Elementary. I grew to love her quickly. She was a very special person, loved and respected by many. She will be missed by all who knew her! We know that she is at peace with her Lord and will be waiting for us with a smile on her face when we to go to be with our Heavenly Father. Love to you and all your family.

Joyce,
You did so much for me while you were my special education teacher at Ore City. You encouraged me to look to my goals to become a teacher and to overcome my learning problems. You were always there to encourage me when I needed the extra help. Even after I gradated I still know that you were there if I needed you. Thank you for everything. I will be praying to our heavenly Father for your family to find comfort and joy knowing that He has you with Him now. God Bless

Oh how much fun we used to have singing at the piano, laughing, hanging out. She took her younger cousin under her wings and blessed her so.
My prayers and thoughts are with you Aunt Sis, Nelda and all ...
Love,

I got the best Christmas card from Joyce this year wishing we could spend a day talking like we did years ago. I will miss Joyce and the good times we had as moms watching our kids grow up.
Joyce watched out for my Lori as she entered Kindergarten in Ore City and Mrs. Walters took care of my baby Roger. Bro. Walters always helped me get the kids into church each Sunday.
I know Joyce is with her dad and Mel now and finally breathing "freely."

Joyce and I taught side-by-side in portabale buildings at Central Elementary School in Henderson, TX. back in the 70's. She and I have kept in touch ever since especially at Christmas. I will truly miss her. Much love to the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss of your dear Joyce. May God strengthen you and give you comfort in the knowledge that she is now in a better place, rejoicing in heaven with the love ones who have preceded her. I can easily imagine her watching and listening as Brother Walters preaches.
All my best.
