Joyce A. Granade went to her heavenly home Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the age of 91. A Frisco, Texas resident and Davenport, Iowa native, she was born on October 20, 1932, and was the only child of the late Louis and Lydia (Klewin) Rahn.

Joyce graduated from Geneseo High School in Geneseo, Illinois and attended Augustana College (Rock Island, Illinois) and Moline Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing (Moline, Illinois) where she graduated with a registered nursing degree in 1954. She went on to have a 42-year career in nursing in which she thrived as a clinical educational coordinator.

She is survived by two daughters; Jerris (Mark) Ruth of Ft. Loudon, Pennsylvania; Marcia (David) Wehrle of Oak Point, Texas; and son Gregg Granade of Frisco, Texas. Grandchildren Collette Dziemian of Bealeton, Virginia; Shaun (Jessica) Collins of Washington, D.C.; Erica Wehrle (Conner Crisafulli) of Tampa, Florida and great-granddaughter Gwendolyn Dziemian of Bealeton, Virginia. She is also survived by the father of her children; O.H. Granade of McMinnville, Tennessee.

Joyce was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Carrollton, Texas where she was a member.

Graveside service and Interment will be held at 3:30 pm, Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, Frisco with Pastor Dan Trempala to officiate.
