As the weather gets warmer, the birds are fluttering around her feeders and homemade houses only to find that I don't keep up with them like she did. It makes me sad and thankful for every little thing she accomplished while she was here. Love my Momma...

Today the ornamental pear and cherry trees are in full bloom. Mom loved the sent and she was a sucker for any flower! I'm sure she's smiling in Heaven right now.

She will always be in your heart, always listening and not far away. Keep her there.

What an Extraordinary Life! Mom lived her life with talent and purpose; she didn't just license her inventions, she created and marketed. She didn't just conceptualize her wood carvings, she painted, displayed and shared them. She didn't just paint canvas but rather she added color to her home, her art, glass, figurine displays, etc. She embraced every hobby and career choice with her heart. I look forward to talking with friends and family on May 20 to learn from you, who Joyce was in your life. Please join us in sharing the Love. Audrey

Here we went VIP to see John Michael Montgomery at Rollies in Sauk Rapids a couple years ago. We had soo much fun! We always enjoyed eating out together or cooking at home. Our restaurant adventures took us from walleye dinners to eating Chinese and Mexican food. Though no guacamole for you. Our brewery tour adventures, our 3 day weekends at home where you cooked my favorite meals and we just hung out. Priceless. It was always like a mini vacation for me to come home and I always slept like a baby. By the time I showered you would have breakfast on the table. Scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, fruit and sometimes a flower from the garden or you designed a flower with the fruit on our plates. You made sure our home was comfortable and inspiring. You taught me at a young age about gardening. I'd say growing up with 2 gardens got us kids off to a great start. Girls...time to pick beans and out the door we would go. Your bean soup was the best! You always made sure there was music playing at home or in the car. We watched so many music TV shows growing up. It is because of you that I hear and feel music mom. I miss your green eyes dancing when we talked. You made me so incredibly proud to be your daughter and I will cherish our memories forever.

What a beautiful tribune to your mom! She would be so very proud. Joyce was such a hard worker and always thought of her kids. I had gotten to know her through daycare. Keep all the wonderful memories close to your heart! Our deepest sympathy to your family. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Your mom, my aunt, was a great woman. She was gentile and kind and loving and funny. The world was a better place because she was in it. I love you Aunt Joyce. I am so happy to know that she will get to see her sister Norita in Heaven after all these years. I am certain my mom is excited as well. Love you guys.
