I just received a Letter and The OBIT announcement about my dear Friend JOYCE from her Cousin ROBIN Phillips, Calgary
Every Christmas she would write me a long letter in the Card about what has happened during the year and she never ever forgot to send wishes to my daughter and Family too
Joyce was the Chief Dietician at the Hospital I worked as Nurse Manager of REHAB
She was always a great Team Member
she moved out of Montreal to Calgary but we have always kept in touch. During
My visit to Calgary we met at her CONDO she made a heart healthy LUNCH h
She was a TRUE LADY
I am so very sorry and shocked to hear of her death
she had written to me a month before she died
I did not know it would be our last communication
May HER SOUL REST IN PEACE
I HAVE OFFERED A MASS FOR HER SOUL
I notice the family have put an OBIT in The MONTREAL Gazette
I will be contacting those who worked with her

It was with grateful emotion that the death of Joyce brought to me. The Lallys were a significant part of my early life in Wainwright. Her father was a true hero of the first War and I remember well the sadness when he died - Joyce was so young. It was so exciting when she and her father swan across Clear Lake. And how grateful my parents were when Mrs, Lally looked after my baby sister while Mom was in the hospital. Oh yes - do not forget Joyce presenting flowers to the Queen on the Royal Visit in 1939. Her's is a family much in my heart these many years later. I just want to say thank you.
