Joyce McCann Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jun. 23 to Jul. 23, 2012.
Joyce Rae McCann was born July 15, 1933, in Hutchinson, Kansas, as the 4th of 4 children to Peter and Kathryn Dyck. She had two older sisters, Erma and Wilma, and an older brother, Gene. Her early years were spent in Hutchinson, where she met and married Lloyd McCann in 1951 at the age of 17. Joyce had two children, Celesta and Scott, before the family moved to California in 1956. Joyce was employed as a retail sales associate throughout her life, most recently for Rite Aid in Magalia, California.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and is survived by her sister Erma, her daughter and son, seven grand children and one great grandson. Joyce went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 18, 2012, and will be sadly missed by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Paradise Alliance Church on Monday the 25th at 11 a.m.

My heartfelt sympathy to Joyce's family. She will missed by all of her fellow associates at Rite Aid and by her many customers. Such a wonderful lady! I feel blessed to have known her.
